Chris passed suddenly on February 22, 2024. This has been devastating to all who know and love him. I’ve had several questions about where to donate in his honor. He held a special place in his heart for helping kids with special needs go fishing, so this feels like the right charity to suggest.
That said, I am confident the greatest thing you can do to honor him is to get outdoors, fish in his honor, or just enjoy the fresh air. One of his favorite things to do was take some tackle or equipment and hand it out to kids fishing off the bank. If you feel so inclined, please grab a pack of plastic worms or whatever you have on hand, go find a kid fishing, and tell them “this is from Barny”.
